Martin Prokop is the first big name to participate in the auto24 Rally Estonia which is the biggest rally event in Baltic states. 2009 JWRC champion Martin Prokop is currently holding equal lead in SWRC with Estonian Ott Tänak.
This week, in the Latvian capital of Riga, a meeting was held between the Federation International Automobile (FIA), represented by WRC Commission president Jarmo Mahonen, organisers of the World Rally Championship (NorthOne Sport) and representatives from the Latvian, Estonian, Lithuanian and Polish ASN’s to discuss the possibility of organising a future WRC event in the Baltics.
